Outdoor DC systems
The FIBER OCEAN Outdoor DC Power System pairs the DC Lite Series, a fanless, high-efficiency −48 Vdc power module in 2, 3 and 6 kW, with the FO-LB48050-O 48 V / 50 Ah LiFePO4 outdoor lithium battery. One IP65-sealed power-and-backup solution for 5G macro and micro base stations, rooftops, street poles and remote towers, with no shelter, no air conditioning and no fans.

Why the Outdoor DC system
Fanless, >95% efficient
Natural-convection, fanless DC Lite modules deliver over 95% conversion efficiency and power factor >0.99, no moving-part failures, no cooling maintenance, lower OPEX every day.
IP65, −40 °C, no cabinet
Both units are fully IP65-sealed and rated for −40 to +65 °C. Mount directly on walls, poles or tower legs, no shelter, no cabinet and no air conditioning required.
Zero-transfer LiFePO4 backup
The FO-LB48050-O battery (2560 Wh, 2000 cycles @ 80% DOD) floats on the bus and takes over the load with zero transfer time. Dual battery ports scale autonomy as the site grows.
IoT site visibility
Built-in FSU IoT monitoring (NB-IoT, Bluetooth, RS-232/485, dry contacts) plus battery RS-485/CAN telemetry give the NOC live voltage, current, SoC, temperature and alarms, fewer truck rolls.

A backup-autonomy guide (indicative, 80% usable DoD, 25 °C): a 500 W micro / pole site runs ≈4.1 h on one battery, ≈8.2 h on two; a 1 kW small macro ≈2.0 h / ≈4.1 h; a 2 kW full macro ≈1.0 h / ≈2.0 h. Size per site load profile and grid reliability.
